Magnetic Shielding Plates & Foil
Magnetic field shielding plates are layered ferromagnetic panels for attenuating low-frequency AC magnetic fields (50 Hz mains) from inverters, smart meters, transformers and unshielded household wiring. Conductive paint and fabric do not shield magnetic B-fields — only ferromagnetic material with high magnetic permeability does.
YSHIELD M6L is six laminated ferromagnetic foils. Published attenuation at three-phase 50 Hz: single-layer 19.5 dB (89.4%), two-layer 25.7 dB (94.8%), four-layer 32.6 dB (97.7%). Stocked sizes: M6L-32 (29 × 21 cm) for small areas and junction boxes, M6L-64 (59 × 40 cm, DIN A2) for smart meter walls and single-fuse boxes, M6L-82 (80 × 21 cm) for long narrow runs and cable trays, and M6L-85 (80 × 55 cm) for caravan tunnel boots and residential meter cupboards.
