RETURNS
Change of Mind Returns.
Purchases that have been made in error for example, if you have ordered/purchased the incorrect colour, size or unwanted gifts.
Aus Security Products will accept a Change of Mind return as long as they meet the following guidelines:
- Returned within 30 days from purchase
- With proof of purchase e.g. receipt (Bank statements are not accepted as a proof of purchase)
- Item must be unused and in original packaging (e.g. Shrink Wrap)
A refund or credit will be given on the product / item only. Item to be returned at customers expense.
FAULTY PRODUCT RETURNS
If a product is faulty, significantly different from description or sample, we will provide you with a refund, replacement or exchange.
Alternatively you may keep the item and you can be compensated for any drop in value.
*If the product is defective please cease from using it for your own safety.
If the problem with the product is not major, we will repair the item within 30 days (from receiving the product)
Refurbished goods may be used to repair the product.
If it has not been repaired within 14 days you may choose a refund, replacement or exchange.
To claim a refund, replacement or exchange you will need a proof of purchase (Bank statements are not accepted as a proof of purchase) and the product you want to return, including all the accessories you received with the product.
Return Process (In-Store)
1. Bring your item(s) to our Sydney based store (Please refer to “Contact” on our web page for store information)
2. Approach a staff member and provide your item(s) and proof of purchase, if you paid using a credit/debit card please also bring that exact card with you.
3. Our staff will assess the problem with the product and in the case that your product meets the returns policy guidelines we will provide you with a refund, replacement, exchange.
If the product is in good working condition and Aus Security Products finds that there are no issues that require a repair, replacement or refund. The customer is required to pay for return postage fees.
Return Process (Online)
If you have purchased a product(s) online, return them to the Aus Security Products Store Unit 24 65-75 captain Cook Drive Caringbah NSW 2229
Please contact sales@aussecurityproducts.com.au and our staff can advise you on the steps to take to resolve your issue.
Alternatively you may:
- Return your product(s) via Postal Service
- Please include in the parcel: Item(s) you wish to return, proof of purchase and Information regarding the problem with the product, your first and last name and telephone number.
- Keep your proof of postage receipt
If the Product meets our Faulty Product or Warranty Policy we will send the repaired item, replacement or exchange, free of charge back to you.
If the product is in good working condition and Aus Security Products finds that there are no issues that require a repair, replacement or refund. The customer is required to pay for return postage fees.
Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.
WARRANTY
The warranty period begins when the customer has received the product.
Consumable Warranty / D.O.A (Dead on Arrival) Warranty
This includes products that are designed to diminish over time and are not repairable. The products below are not covered for warranty unless it is D.O.A
This warranty is valid for 2 days from the date you have purchased your product. This Warranty covers items on first use only, these items include:
- Batteries
- Torches
Express Warranty
This term is referred to as Manufacturing Warranty or Warranties Against Defects. Warranty periods are different for each individual product or may not have “Manufacturing Warranty”. Aus Security Products will provide you with a Ninety (90) day warranty period, if you experience problems with your product or have any queries regarding manufactures warranty please contact us at sales@aussecurityproducts.com.au
The types of products covered under the Manufacturing Warranty, Warranties Against Defects & Aus Security Product Ninety (90) day warranty include:
- Torches (Removable & Built-in Battery)
- Rolling cases
- Satchels
Warranty does not cover:
- Deliberate or Accidental Abuse or Misuse Damage
- General Wear and Tear
- Unauthorised Repairs
- Excessive force or improper use
- Water, Liquid damage
- Cosmetic Damage (e.g. scratches, dents)
- Third Party Programs or Accessories/Unsupported Chargers
Your original warranty period is not renewed or extended as a result of a warranty repair or replacement.
