Paints

EMF shielding paint is a carbon-loaded coating that, applied to a wall or ceiling and properly grounded, attenuates high-frequency RF and low-frequency AC electric fields. It's not paint in the decorative sense — it's a conductive substrate you over-paint with normal interior paint of any colour.

YSHIELD paints are tested to IEEE Std 299-2006 at 1 GHz, TÜV-SÜD certified. At 4 sqm/litre: HSF54 delivers 44 dB single layer, 53 dB double, 60 dB triple (the default for walls/ceiling/floor); MAX54 delivers 43 / 53 / 63 dB when every dB counts; ECO54 delivers 44 / 53 dB, low-VOC and preservative-free for bedrooms. Two non-negotiables: prime absorbent substrates (ply, MDF, plaster) with YSHIELD GK5 first, and ground the shielded surface via a single bonded earth point per AS/NZS 3000 — licensed-electrician work.
