Product Overview

Swiss Shield Naturell Ultra is the conductive, groundable member of the Swiss Shield cotton range. As well as reflecting high-frequency (HF) radiation like the standard Naturell, its silver/copper filament is carbon-coated so the fabric is electrically conductive — when grounded, it also reduces low-frequency (LF) electric fields from household wiring and appliances.

It delivers around 41 dB of HF shielding at 900 MHz (full per-frequency table below) in a semi-transparent grey cotton weave that works as window and wall curtains, bed canopies or room dividers. Manufactured in Switzerland with a patented high-tech yarn.

Naturell Ultra is the only Swiss Shield fabric that is externally conductive — this is what allows it to be grounded for LF field reduction. Sold by the linear metre (250 cm / 98.4 in wide).

Grounding

Unlike the other Swiss Shield fabrics, Naturell Ultra is externally conductive and should be grounded to realise its full benefit. Grounding drains static and allows the fabric to shield low-frequency (LF) electric fields in addition to HF radiation. Use a proper grounding kit and, ideally, verify the result with a body-voltage or field meter. If you are unsure, consult a qualified EMR technician.

Care Instructions

• Machine wash on a gentle cycle in cold water
• Iron without steam on the lowest temperature setting
• Do not bleach
• No chemical dry cleaning
• Hang to dry — do not tumble dry
