Hire Terms & Conditions
Hire Period
The hire period starts when the customer takes possession of the meter and ends 72 hours after delivery. The meter must be returned within this time frame. Australia Post will notify us once the meter is signed for.
Return Process
Return the meter using the provided prepaid post pack with a trackable label. The meter can be dropped in a red post box or taken to a post office. Retain the return tracking number starting with "JU."
Refund Policy
A $290 deposit will be refunded within three business days after we receive the meter in working and undamaged condition. An email confirmation will be sent upon refund processing.
Damage or Loss
If the meter is damaged, lost, or not returned on time, the $290 deposit and hire fee will be forfeited. The meter will be inspected for functionality before dispatch.
Shipping and Delivery
Postage is signature-required. If the customer is unavailable to sign, a notification card will be left for collection at the specified post office.
By agreeing to these terms and conditions, customers accept responsibility for using and returning the meter as outlined. For any additional concerns, please contact AUS Security promptly.
