Testing & Conformity
Screening attenuation measured from 30 MHz to 18 GHz in conformity with standard ASTM D4935-10. Measurements also to IEEE Std 299-2006, IEEE Std 1128-1998, ASTM A698/A698M-07.
Measurements are carried out using a professional vector network analyzer Rohde & Schwarz ZNB20 with a 140dB dynamic range up to 20 GHz. Antenna for ASTM D4935-10 are modified TEM-cells that can measure even small samples down to 30 MHz in the far-field. Samples are measured with radial polarisation (all directions), which matches typical forms of environmental exposure. Each batch is measured separately for quality management purposes.
Important Notes
- Silver SuperShield material gains a slight tarnish over time — areas of slight colour variation from the start are a natural result of the manufacturing process and do not indicate a lack of quality or varying levels of shielding
- Silver SuperShield is durable and machine washable with Leblok washing powder. Shielding level can be compromised by abrasion, rubbing, wringing or overhandling
Care Instructions
- Machine wash only at 30°C
- Use only Leblok washing powder — other detergents may severely affect shielding level
- Do not hand wash, dry clean, tumble dry, or bleach
- Drip dry
- Iron on low
