Product Overview

Swiss Shield Ultima is the highest-attenuation non-conductive cotton fabric in the Swiss Shield range — a finely, densely woven textile engineered to shield interior spaces from high-frequency (HF) electromagnetic fields. It pairs the best HF shielding of any Swiss Shield cotton with a natural, chemical-free composition, making it an excellent choice for curtains in a healthier indoor environment.

Ultima reaches around 41 dB of attenuation at 900 MHz and holds strong performance across the higher bands (full table below). Its surface is electrically isolated and non-conductive, so there is no exposed metal to rub off, and it needs no grounding. Manufactured in Switzerland with a patented high-tech yarn.

Depending on the meterage ordered, this fabric may carry a 5–10 day lead time. Sold by the linear metre (250 cm / 98.4 in wide).

Care Instructions

Gentle cycle at 30 °C using an enzyme- and bleach-free detergent (e.g. TEXCARE)

We recommend measuring RF exposure before and after installation. If unsure, consult a qualified EMR technician or use suitable measuring equipment.
Ultima shields HF radiation but is not grounded — also reduce low-frequency AC electric fields (ELF) in the installation area where possible.
