YSHIELD® TBM Shielding Cap — Black-Jersey
Product Overview
The YSHIELD® TBM is a soft, comfortable shielding cap made from Black-Jersey — a dense cotton fabric with a high silver thread content, and currently YSHIELD's best and most durable fabric for shielding apparel. With 40 dB attenuation measured across 600 MHz to 40 GHz, it provides effective protection against high-frequency electromagnetic fields including all 5G frequency bands (FR1: 600 MHz–6 GHz and FR2: 24–40 GHz).
Black-Jersey is notable for achieving unusually high shielding attenuation for a fabric with such a high cotton content, combining a natural feel with strong electromagnetic shielding performance. Manufactured in Germany.
Please note: As a hygienic product, the TBM cap cannot be returned once worn. You may try the cap on to check fit, but visible traces of wear will void the right of return. Contact us for a fabric sample if needed before ordering.

Care Instructions
- Wash: Gentle cycle at 30°C only
- Iron: Without steam, at degree 1 only
- Do not tumble dry

- Wash only with a specialist detergent free of enzymes and bleaching agents (YSHIELD TEXCARE recommended)
Following correct care instructions is essential to preserving shielding performance. Incorrect washing, bleaching or high-heat drying will degrade the silver thread and reduce attenuation over time.
