Product Overview
The Mission Darkness Faraday Bag for Key Fobs is a high-shielding Faraday pouch designed to prevent relay-attack vehicle theft by blocking the RF signal between a key fob and the vehicle. Each bag is built with three layers of TitanRF™ Faraday Fabric on all interior sides with dual paired seam construction (lab certified MIL-STD-188-125 compliant) and a durable, water-resistant ballistic nylon outer shell. Capacity fits two fobs or one fob plus keyring accessories.
Modern key fobs constantly emit a short-range RF signal — criminals use signal amplifiers to capture and replay that signal, unlocking and starting the vehicle without forced entry. Storing the fob in this Faraday bag whenever it is not in use breaks that attack chain, preventing relay hacking and digital car theft.
Important: Do not place keys or other sharp objects inside the inner Faraday pouch — they can pierce the shielding fabric. Use the keyring loop or external clip for keys; the inner pouch is for the fob only. Faraday fabric can wear out with frequent use — inspect the pouch regularly to confirm it is still shielding correctly.
